What recyclable materials do you accept?

M-PASS operates in multiple markets and each can be slightly different. In general we accept: Newspaper, Office Paper, Magazines, Phone Books, Clean Paper Mail, most types of Plastics (types 1-7), Glass, Aluminum and Cardboard.

We do NOT accept: Polystyrene or Styrofoam, Egg Cartons, Styrofoam Food Trays, Plastic Grocery Bags, Rubber Gloves, Light Bulbs, Drink ware, Motor Oil Containers, Pesticide Containers, Paint Cans, Electronic Devices, Clothing, or FOOD.

Do we need to separate materials?

Only cardboard is segregated.

Do you accept glass?

Yes!

How big are the containers, and what do they look like?

The containers are 95 gallon "Roll out Carts" or "Toters". The container dimensions are 46 inches in height x 29 inches in width x 33 inches in depth. The cardboard recycling containers come in various sizes.

Are there any contracts to sign?

M-PASS Recycling operates on a month to month basis. Our commitment to customer satisfaction allows us to keep our customers without a contract. If you decide the program is just not right for your business, please provide us with a 30 day written cancellation notice. Of course we are ready to enter into contractual agreements when requested.

How much does the service cost?

We provide unlimited service pick-ups per month for a small predictable flat fee. Prices vary according to the number of containers and frequency of collection. GRA customers will receive special pricing, membership rebate money, and free cardboard collection service.

How many containers does my company or property need?

The number of containers depends on several variables. We use a ratio formula to determine the amount of containers needed for each location. M-PASS will work with you to determine the number of recycling containers needed for your business.

How often do you empty the containers?

Every scenario is different and depends on the participation of the parties involved. We do provide the customer with scheduled pickup day(s). We will evaluate and adjust the schedule for each location as needed and provide timely service.

Can my company save money by recycling?

Absolutely!! The more volume you can redirect from trash to recycling, the greater the savings. GRA customers will have access to the M-PASS trash service calculator to help you "right size" your
trash containers and service.

What happens if my containers get too full and overflow?

Simply contact our office and they will be emptied the very next business day. If this continues to occur we can adjust the service by adding more containers or increasing frequency of pickups.
